Champions of Hope Award

It was an honor to have United Global Outreach selected for the Champions of Hope Award presented by the Governor Rick Scott, Department of Children and Families Secretary Mike Carroll, Department of Juvenile Justice Secretary Christina Daly and the Florida Faith-Based and Community-Based Advisory Council.

There is still so much work to do. Too often, I feel we fail more and faster than we succeed in bringing about positive change to reach some. Recognition like this is only beneficial to the extent that it allows us to leverage more resources and more influence to actually solve problems so that every child might grow up in a healthy community and have an equal opportunity to succeed. The work continues.
