Transformation Village

Tim McKinney

The Transformation Village is what we call the "town center" we are developing for the Bithlo community. Volunteers are always needed and welcome around Transformation Village.

Some specific volunteer needs around Transformation Village include:

  • Community Garden Maintenance: Volunteers are needed to water, weed, trim and harvest plants. Help us provide constant love and care to our garden! Gardening experience preferred, but not required.

  • School and Transformation Village Facility Cleaning: Our dedicated teachers work hard to create a safe learning environment for their students, while keeping th school clean. To allow our teachers more time to prepare for their students we are seeking volunteers to help sweep and mop classrooms and hallways and restocking and cleaning restrooms in school buildings and school lunch room.

  • Staffing for Community Library and Coffee Shop: Our community library and coffee shop is ready to be opened, but we are looking for volunteers to help staff the building, so it can be open to the public. Volunteers would help keep the building organized and be available to answer any questions guests have.

Hours for these opportunities are flexible and we can work with your schedule to coordinate.

If you are interested in any of these opportunities please contact Todd Currie!
